After leaving Christchurch (and our game of Scrabble in the cupboard) we headed for Lake Tekapo on a lovely late summer’s day where the trees are just starting to get their autumn colours.
What’s left of Kerrytown where Louise’s Scottish ancestors first settled in NZ, it is now just one long road with a few farm houses and fields of turnips.
The Church of the Good Shepherd in Lake Tekapo. I’ve always wanted to visit there and I wasn’t disappointed although I could have done without the cars & campervans in the way of a good photo!
Tomorrow prepare to be GOBSMACKED!
